Found some interesting results of a survey conducted last year about breastfeeding in public.  Click on the thumbnail to see a full size image of the results.

Some of it makes me really sad to think how many mums (and I remember doing it myself) avoid feeding in front of not just complete strangers but also family and friends.

We had some exciting news today that Katrina has been shortlisted for a mumsclub Business Award 2012.

Katrina received an email from Jane Hopkins MBE this afternoon which read:

“The level of entrants were very high so you have done incredibly well to get this far.

But for now, my job is over (hooray) and the shortlist has been passed to the team of judges for deliberation.

So good luck to you! You are a fabulous business woman and I hope you are incredibly proud.”

The winners will be announced on Thursday 8th March to coincide with International Woman’s Day.  Fingers crossed!!

We are delighted to bring you news that BelleBelly has been awarded a Gold Bizziebaby award.  This means so much to us as BelleBelly was chosen for the award after being reviewed by a number of real-life testers.  We provided our products to mums who are experiencing breastfeeding at the moment.  And they gave BelleBelly a huge thumbs up!

If you tuned into BBC Three Counties Radio between 12pm and 1pm today you will have heard Katrina being interviewed about BelleBelly.  It was in response to Katrina’s award as one of the top 100 mumpreneurs as chosen by MumpreneurUK.

On the radio show, Katrina described the benefits of the breastfeeding belly band and also how she works hard to juggle home life, looking after two children with running a successful business.

We are delighted to bring the news that Katrina has been announced as one of the top 100 Mumpreneurs of the Year by Mumpreneur UK.  What a lovely way to end 2011!
